Leisure activities at the Lacapelle Marival

Leisure activities on site

Le Bois de Sophie offers access to the municipal swimming pool at the entrance to the campsite, with its solarium terrace open in July and August and every afternoon; campers and tenants of the campsite have free access for the duration of their stay.

Le Bois de Sophie has a play area for the little ones. What a treat, climbing games, sliding, of course under parental supervision. And for all the family, there's a large multi-sports pitch, tennis court and table tennis table. The boulodrome is the perfect place to continue your pétanque competitions over an aperitif with friends.

Fill up on activities

Throughout the summer (July and August), Eric will offer you a weekly information meeting, accompanied by a welcome drink, and will tell you about the activities on offer at the campsite: an organised pétanque tournament - every Wednesday a themed meal (Paëlla - Chili - Quercynois meal with local produce...) - an accompanied hike with picnic lunches on reservation.

You're sure to have a great time at Le Bois de Sophie. Every week, you will find an events sheet at reception. This sheet lists all the village activities such as :
Markets - pétanque competitions - fête nationale with a local meal and folk dancing - visits to educational farms - crafts with a woodcarver and a potter - various exhibitions - tourist visits organised by village associations.

Canoeing - Kayaking

There are 3 rivers to choose from: the Lot, Célé and Dordogne. They offer a multitude of possibilities for canoeing and kayaking: hire by the hour, multi-day trips... But above all they offer an exceptional setting: limestone cliffs, heritage sights, magnificent meanders and picnic spots. In July and August, the Bois de Sophie campsite organises a weekly outing by prior arrangement (picnic provided).
